Good house with a good location. Each bedroom has 1 bed except for the bunk beds. The bunk beds are super noisy and not ideal for adults, hoping those can get repair or replaced. Hot tub is great and location was awesome. Could have used some more household items but pretty well stocked home.

This place was a good place for a big group. It was close to everything we needed. The downstairs, where most of the bedrooms are, got hot for the people that were staying down there. Adjusting the AC didn't seem to help cool it down, but other than that it was a really nice place. The hot tub was nice and excluded. Communication with the landlord was great. Would recommend to others.

This was a wonderful house for our family reunion. It is close to walking paths and a park. Four of the bedrooms are nice size and one is tiny which was perfect for our granddaughter. We had trouble being able to use the fire pit since the key was not available. After notifying the management, we were told maintenance would contact us. Disappointingly, no one ever showed up. Also we were not able to open the front door, so had to walk around from the side door to enjoying the seating on the porch. I noticed these were problems listed with a previous review as well. The hot tub was wonderful and was very relaxing. The patio furniture was very comfortable and nice for gathering outside. There was plenty of space for everyone to be enjoying games and gathering. I would strongly suggest management create a notebook with directions for everything with the supplies needed (fire pit key) in a drawer. Plus a list of restaurants nearby. This has been very helpful in other places we have stayed.

This home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group of 7. Having central air with this heat was certainly a plus. The kitchen could use some basic essentials like sugar and coffee. I was actually very surprised that this home didn’t have any of that because all homes that I have ever rented do. Thankfully there was a grocery store near by. There are also restaurants near by. The hot tub was up and running and super clean. The back yard is an amazing place to sit and gather. However, we did not find any instructions on how to use the fire pit. I had to call the number that was given to me and I spoke to someone who then told me that someone from maintenance would be calling me. They never called me so the next day I called again and was told someone would call me. Few hours later, while I was at a concert I got a call with instructions. So the following night when we were finally able to use the fire pit I followed instructions but never found the key they said was in the kitchen drawer to turn on the fire pit. Needless to say this was very frustrating. Thankfully my husband was able to turn it on with something else. It would be really nice if you put a binder together with instructions on how to use fire pit and where you can find key and lighters to help start it. And maybe add a list of restaurants to try out and suggestions on places to see. All of the bedrooms were super cute. Master bedroom was perfect. My friends did tell me that the beds downstairs were not very comfortable. The women said they would constantly sink towards the middle of the bed. One of the husbands looked under one of the beds and the frame is completely busted. Other than what I have listed above, the house was perfect and I would highly recommend this place. I would most definitely come back. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This was a 4th of July vacation to visit my son and his daughter that live in Salt Lake City. We arrived on July 3rd and left on July 8th. The house was large enough for our family of 7 (4-adults & 3-kids). The location was great (a lot of trees in the neighborhood) and as advertised. There was an issue with the AC unit on the third night after we returned home from dinner. I contacted the property manager and the maintenance crew arrived the next morning. A window unit was installed until the repair parts could be obtained. The AC technician arrived around 2pm to install the defective parts and the main unit was back in service. Due to the hot weather (average temperature ~100 F) during our stay, we were not able to truly enjoy the backyard (hot tub, pit). It would have been nice if there were outdoor umbrella's available to provide shading. Therefore, the kids really enjoyed the front porch and yard.

We loved our stay here! It was 2 families made up of 8 people, plus grandma, and we all had plenty of space!! The backyard is so nice to sit back and relax in, and we loved sitting on the front porch and watching the happenings of the neighborhood! Great location for getting around. Only 15 minutes from the airport. Great restaurants nearby! Highly recommend the Hogle Zoo! Thanks for a great stay in your perfect home! **side note**the basement bedroom doors need some WD40. Super squeaky! Makes sneaking in and out on kiddos impossible at night and nap time. Also, check a few lightbulbs in the basement. But certainly didn’t impact the stay any.

We saw benches in the pictures by the fire pit but they weren’t there during our stay. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day on the slopes.

While it’s not a huge house, we had SO MUCH room to spread out!...5 bedrooms (of various sizes); a nice little family room downstairs for movies, video games (our teenaged boys loved that after a day of skiing and a hot tub!), foosball; a living room with more seating; a nice big dining room table for family dinners; and a REALLY thoughtfully-equipped kitchen that had absolutely everything needed to make our meals. The location is great - a park (dog-friendly) just down the block, close to groceries and other “errands,” close to both U of U and Westminster, and quick access to main highways, which meant we were at Park City, Brighton and Snowbird in half an hour or less. The hot tub out back was awesome! We had a couple days of 60-degree weather so having the grill out there was great too. The fire pit is advertised as one of the best parts of the property, and I wouldn’t disagree, except that there were no chairs/patio furniture out there. We contacted the property manager and they were ON IT immediately (unfortunately, the furniture was unavailable for our stay, so hopefully that issue will be resolved quickly for the next guests). For some reason, the front door seemed to be sealed shut...not sure what that’s all about - there were a couple chairs on the front step/entrance area, so would have been nice to walk out the door to sit there with coffee...but the side door by the driveway was very convenient for getting to our cars and to the back yard. The driveway was really nice and big (long)...we fit our big SUV as well as a couple other visitors’ cars we had come over (who live in the area). This property is in a beautiful old neighborhood with ample sidewalks for walking and easy accessibility to so much of what the SLC area has to offer!

Thanks Martha for your detailed review of this amazing historic Sugarhouse property that has been completely redone and styled. We are so glad you could stay with us and loved the experience. The front door does open, it is not sealed. We are looking into that to ensure it is a bit easier to enjoy those 2 front chairs on the covered patio. Of course the side door is also easy to use to access that porch as well. Patio furniture isn't put out for use until mid April (as per owner's directive). The hot tub is new and just added to the home so we are glad you loved that new amenity. It makes for such an enjoyable, relaxing retreat. I can't say enough great things about this home. It had all of the charm of a 1925 home with the conveniences of a new build. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. If circumstances would have allowed the other three to come there was plenty of room for them too. Loved the location! This park was right behind us and the kids lived walking to get Gelato. The house had EVERYTHING we needed and was VERY clean (I always bring cleaning supplies and didn't have to use them). Would definitely rent and recommend this home again.
