Guest Information
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Checking in and out: Our homes are self-service and check-in. Arrive, check-in, and make yourself at home. A few days prior to arrival, you will be emailed a unique access code that you will input into the electronic keypad on the front door when you arrive, which will provide access to the home throughout the duration of your stay.
Check-In and Out Times:
Check in is 4:00 pm. Check out is 10:00 am.
Late check outs will automatically be charged a fee.
Checking out promptly is very important for our housekeeper's and inspector's schedules. They need time to prepare the home for our next arriving guest on that same day of your check out. If you're scheduled to arrive earlier or depart later, please contact us with that information.
How To Check-in?
We are family owned and operated and love meeting and welcoming every guest upon arrival. However, sometimes it isn't possible. So we offer self check-in, allowing you to go to the home without checking in at the reservations office. Three days prior to arrival, you will receive your check-in information by email, which includes your unique entry code to enter the home on arrival. This code will give you access to the home for the duration of your stay. No keys are necessary. Also provided in this email will be driving directions and map, information about the home's amenities such as WiFi connectivity, garbage day, etc. Additional useful information about your vacation home will also be provided.
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out
For $100 nominal fee, you can check in two hours early (at 2 pm), and for an additional $100, you can check-out two hours late (at 1 pm). Checking our earlier or later than two hours requires purchase of additional day. We strive to accommodate requests for an early check-in or late check-out. Contact reservations of guest services to make arrangements. Requests are based on availability and some restrictions may apply.
Our Mobile App
To simplify your stay with Utah's Best, we now use a mobile app to provide all the necessary information you will need about your rental home and stay. Once your reservation is confirmed and rental contract signed, you will be invited to download our app. Once inside the app, you can quickly invite everyone in your group so they have access to the same information (especially important so everyone isn't asking you what the WIFI info is).
The app is easy to use and provides you and your entire party with all the specific details about the home, the door code, and other information you need. It also provides local recommendations on restaurants, activities, and events.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you've never stayed in one of our vacation homes before, you're in for a treat. You can expect a quality home that is clean and equipped with furnishings, bedding, and linens, kitchen supplies to prepare and enjoy meals, satellite or cable TV programming, internet, and a hot tub (select homes).
1. Bedding and linens. Clean comforters, pillows, blankets and sheets are available. Select homes provide a more plentiful supply than others. One towel per person is standard because we provide a washing machine and complimentary travel size detergent.
2. Bathroom travel-size amenities. There is enough shampoo/conditioner and bar soap for a few uses in each bathroom.
3. Kitchen supplies. Basic cookware, serve ware, glass ware, cutlery, utensils, roll of paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent are provided. We don't provide specialty appliances such as slow cookers/roasters, blenders, or griddles.
4. TV programming. We are contracted with Direct TV and provide basic satellite programming, which includes ESPN, News, and local channels.
5. Internet. We are contracted with Century Link for internet service. We provide internet at no charge because the wireless signal in the home can be unreliable at times, depending on weather and sensitive equipment.
6. Hot Tub. Our hot tubs are serviced and cleaned regularly by certified pool and spa technicians. We provide this amenity at no charge because weather and sensitive equipment can sometimes render tubs unusable.

PET POLICY
We love pets and understand they are members of the family too and travel with you. One of the great things about us is we offer pet friendly vacation homes, which provide a comfortable and safe environment for your pet (fenced yards, etc). Even some of our most luxurious homes allow pets. We believe providing pet friendly accommodations makes your vacation more of a home away from home.
Pets are only permitted in our select pet friendly properties. There is a nominal fee of $250 per approved pet, which is charged at the time of reservation. This fee is non-refundable and helps cover the cost of cleaning carpets of residual dander and pet hair. Some breeds are prohibited even in pet friendly homes (rotweilers, great danes, dobermans, and St. Bernards).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
About the Home
What's the address of the home?
To ensure our guest's safety at all times and the security of our homes, the actual property address is provided once a reservation is finalized. However, we understand the importance of location to our guests, and therefore provide online maps for each property showing approximate location. You can see the location of all our homes together on our interactive property map. Upon finalization of your reservation, you will receive your check-in packet via email which will include address, driving instructions, map, specific details about the home, and how to check-in.
What comes included with the home?
Most of our homes are equipped with our standard amenities. However, some amenities vary. Refer to property details for more details. Generally, each home includes bedding and linens, basic kitchen supplies, travel-size bath amenities, satellite or cable TV, internet, and select homes include a private hot tub. Select luxury homes provide a game table, a movie theater, or swimming pool. While searching for a home on our website, we make it simple for you to find the home with the amenities you desire. Filter your search by selecting the amenity check boxes you desire and only the homes that apply will appear.
What is the maximum sleeping capacity in your homes? How is this total calculated?
The listed maximum sleeping capacity is the maximum number of people that can be in the home at any given time during your stay day or night. This is calculated based on the number of total people the home can sleep (double occupancy - two to a bed), including beds and other alternative areas to sleep such as sofa sleepers and futons. There are a few homes where there are more spaces for sleeping than the listed maximum occupancy. It's designed to allow for different sleeping configuration, but is not intended to allow for more guests.
Do infants and toddlers count towards the listed maximum occupancy?
No. Children under 2 years of age we assume will not require a bed. Pak 'n plays are available for rent for $35 per stay. Contact guest services to make arrangements.
Are your hot tubs nice? Do all your homes provide them?
Our hot tubs are maintained by professionally certified pool and spa technicians. Each service includes filter cleaning, chemical and pH balancing, and draining/refilling on an as needed basis. On occasion, unforeseeable issues cause further repairs, which we try to fix as fast as possible to satisfy guests and ensure a healthy user experience. We do not charge a fee for hot tub usage as they can sometimes be unreliable.
Are there towels and linens in the home?
Yes. We provide one bath towel and wash cloth per listed occupant on the guest list. We do not provide beach or hot tub towels. We also offer a washing machine and dryer in the home with complimentary travel-size detergent for easy laundering.
Do you have pack 'n plays/cribs in your homes?
We don't provide cribs in our homes. However, we offer pak 'n plays for rent for $35 per stay. Advance notice is required as there is a limited supply available and they sell out during peak seasons.
What is your parking policy?
No more than 4 cars parked at any home at any time, unless otherwise approved. We strictly prohibit any street parking at any home at any time during your stay. Please park in the garage or on the driveway only. We ask that you ensure your guests and visitors are fully aware of this policy and adhere to it to avoid forfeiture of your deposit or other fees.
