This home was clean, spacious, and had great amenities. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the back patio & in the hot tub. It’s such a beautiful, private setting. Our only complaint is about the bathrooms; we didn’t feel the listing adequately prepared us for a few downsides with the showers… the master bathroom shower was fully viewable from the loft bedroom, the 2nd master didn’t have a shower, only a tub, and the shower in the guest house was a little difficult with a hand held shower head and little privacy with no bathroom door. We had 14 ladies for our stay so only 2 showers shared between us and the lack of privacy was a bit difficult, but we worked it out and did have a lovely time there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family spent its 8th consecutive winter ski gathering in Salt Lake City. Chateau Woodlands was a great spot for our group of peeps. We loved the open floor plan and the ability for everyone to hang together. The house was very clean, high end, and well equipped. The only possible criticism is that the 3 upstairs bedrooms, including the 8 person bunk area, only has one shower. There is a 2nd bathroom with a tub, but shower space was a bit of bottleneck. (the property description did mention the tub upstairs, but it wasn't until we arrived that we realized the shower logistics).

All in all, it was perfect for our group. Everyone will fondly recall our ski vacation in Salt Lake.

We stayed here for my best friend’s bachelorette party and it was a dream! So many activities included, and enough space to never feel like 13 girls were crowding. Please remember this home is for private accommodations only and is not to be rented as an event center or party gathering. Gatherings and events need to take place off site. Overnight accommodations only. This home has it all and for us to continue offering it we must limit its maximum occupancy and the amount of cars parked here.

Sometimes the pictures lie; not here. This home is a truly high end, perfectly appointed property inside and out. The water pressure was outstanding, all the beds were super comfortable (likely 800+ count sheets and comforters), newer well kept appliances including super washer + dryer...just oustanding all the way around...

We came to Utah for our son’s wedding. House was open and comfortable. Loved the back yard. The guest house was an added bonus, with a game room downstairs. We were all very comfortable. The upstairs of the main house has two bathrooms to three bedrooms. Only one shower. The second master bedroom upstairs has a bathtub. Would have been ideal to have two shower areas upstairs, but we made it work. Overall it was a very comfortable stay for all of us.

Our group had the best time here! We were in town for a convention in downtown Salt Lake City and it was the perfect distance to be close to the event but still have space to be together for team building. The home had enough comfortable space for everyone. My kids loved the different variety of games and being close to the mountains was heavenly. Morning yoga on the grass next to the creek was lovely. We were a group of 11 staying in this property. We used it as a base for skiing Alta/Sowbird, Brighton, and Solitude. It's proximity to the airport(approximately 20 minutes)and the ski areas( approximately 30 minutes) perfect. The house is large and also features a guest house with a game room on the first floor and a king sized bedroom on the top floor of the guest house. The beds were comfortable and there were extra linens if needed. The hot tub was a welcome treat after a long day of skiing. There were plenty of bath towels and hot tub towels, as well as hand towels in the kitchen. The kitchen in this home was one of the most well stocked of any we have stayed in. The selection of spices was amazing, and there were plenty of dishes, pots, pans , and gadgets. The communication with the property management company Utah's Best was prompt and Makayla was wonderful to work with. I would not hesitate to book with Utah's Best again.

That table gets a lot of use, so we hope to replace it with a newer one very soon (owner is currently considering it). In addition, the owner is re-doing the garage floor with a brand new epoxy floor that will transform that garage so it feels more like a finished room for ping ponging for hours. Our group consisted of 4 families of 8adults and 5 children under the age of 10. We were very comfortable, each adult couple had a king bed, the children all puppy-piled in the large bunk room. The kitchen was well stocked, and we created many gourmet meals. We loved the spaciousness of our surroundings, but the biggest hit was the game room and kid activities especially the trampoline. It was a parents’ dream! Having the guest house available for the couple who doesn’t have children also gave them a respite from kid chaos. We celebrated a birthday, 2 new jobs, a college graduate and a 50rh wedding anniversary.

So glad you loved this luxurious spacious home. Chateau Woodlands is a remarkable place, almost unheard of to find anything like it in Salt Lake. Custom and fully loaded with everything you could ever want. Glad you loved it here. The home has 12 total beds including the fold down futon in guesthouse and the twin pads in the loft and play closet area. There was never 14 beds. Only 12. But this home is best for 12-15 people, not maxed out at 20 for optimum enjoyment without overcrowding. Hope to host you again soon.

Our soccer team stayed in this house. We had 12 teenage boys and they were never bored at this house. The game room, ping pong table, basketball hoop and jacuzzi tub made the weekend great and easy for the parents who were chaperoning. Only 20 minutes from the airport and near a Costco. Great house!

We very much enjoyed this property and hope to be back next ski season! This place comes just as advertised. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and straightforward. We did have issues with the WiFi and hot tub not being warm enough the first night but both problems were addressed right away and fixed by the morning. This place is advertised as kid friendly, however we were a group of all adults. There was PLENTY of space for us all not to feel like we were on top of each other. We had a blast in the game room with foosball, air hockey, and the karaoke machine! Our main purpose of this trip was to ski and snowboard and we were a short drive away to Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, and Brighton (about 35 mins to each of the them). That made this location PERFECT for our group. There were also plenty of stores/ restaurants close by for all our grocery needs. Overall amazing property and we will be looking to come back here next winter!

Comforts of home far surpasses at this home because the owner is so astute and detailed, she has blankets and so many extras provided. And the best part: Brand new remodeled kitchen with gorgeous white quartz counter tops and a brand new remodeled master bathroom with all white marble tops and amazing while marble shower with bench and 2 shower heads (one hand held). This is a remarkable home so close to the Cottonwood Canyons. Definitely in a league of its own with the recent $50,000 modernizing updates.

An irrigation canal is in the back of the property. Ducks come up and down and sometimes exit the canal and line up to observe you. Lots of fun for children to see them. Yard is large and useful for setting up bad-mitten or volleyball (which we did). Shady in the evening, so it can be used. Great backdrop for family photos. We came in summer, so didn't have much demand for the hot tub, but very relaxing.

Thanks Bruce! We loved having you. This is a one of a kind home. A gem near the canyons. Hard to find homes anywhere as nice as this one. We loved reading your input about the ducks in back that come out through the large trees. There is perhaps no better park setting that this backyard. We often get comments we should rent it out for events, but we can't unfortunately. We hope you come back again in winter and enjoy some nearby skiing and the hot tub hidden in the side yard area.

After another property fell through, our group of 10 on its tenth annual Labor Day trip was blessed to find this amazing house in Murray that gave us everything we needed and then some! A great cozy house with lots of fun amenities - games, hot tub, fire pit and more - that was perfect for our group to wind down from the intense hikes, tubing and stargazing that were all within striking distance of the property. This home was perfect for everything we needed while traveling with family friends! The home was super clean, comfortable, well stocked, and was the all around perfect setup for us! A couple things though, not worth giving less than 5 stars, but still might be looked into...... The bed in the guest house is pretty out dated. It's very saggy on both sides. Still slept ok, but it was a little disappointing. Also, in the game room, the Wii didn't work. There was no hdmi cable ran to the tv and the remotes had no batteries. This wasn't a deal breaker, still TONS for the boys to do! But they are a tad bummed. Boys were also super excited to play basketball....but all of them were flat ? The yard is absolutely gorgeous and SO relaxing!! Like a little mini sanctuary despite being right on a busy road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely reserve again when with a large group!

This house is large, gracious, clean and simply a wonderful place for families. We rented for our family during our son's wedding weekend and it was a wonderful retreat for all, with all kinds of unexpected treats. The space is very comfortable, modern and well organized. Our 3 year olds loved the bunk room and little nooks for play. The garages are filled with games and activities for the kids and the yard had a set up for golf frisbee as well as a trampoline. The master suite is large and gracious, with a huge bathroom. The kitchen worked really well and has everything one could need. The guest house was a lovely extra and provided privacy for our daughter, her husband and their new baby We made use of the hot tub and all the amenities. Simply spectacular

We comfortably stayed at the Bellagio with 12 adults. The kitchen was wonderful, plenty of room for lots of cooking. The pantry was also stocked with TONS of things, it was excellent. The only thing we couldn’t find was Tupperware for leftovers, but no big deal. The house had plenty of living space for the large group to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub daily and a few of the games. The location was a quick drive to the ski resorts and grocery stores. I would definitely stay here again!

A large group of us (12 people) stayed for a long ski weekend and found this home to be comfortable, spacious and with the all amenities necessary. It's also conveniently located near the main road up to Alta and Snowbird so less than a 30 minutes drive up to the slopes. The house could benefit from some routine maintenance but overall we enjoyed our stay and found this to be a great fit for us.

Easy to follow instructions, comfy and clean. Beautiful yard and lots of fun things to do. This is a party house with lots of games and a hot tub. You can sleep 20 people and kitchen and baths are stocked with appliances and basically everything you need. Kids will remember this house for a long time!

The property was beautiful! It said it slept 20, but we had 13 adults and barely fit without using fold out couch, etc., which was in the main area of the home). With the 13, one person used the loft in the Master Bedroom, so not much privacy for those 3 in that room, the bunk room (4 people). There are only 2 showers in the main home and one above the garage...tricky getting ready. No real complications. I would say it sleeps 12 adults comfortably as long as 2 people can share a bed in 4 rooms (2 queen size, 2 king size beds), so 8 people sharing beds and 4 people in the bunk room (2 double bunk beds). There is a futon above the garage, with the king size bed in the same room, so if it were a family, they could sleep 1-2 more people there.

This home is on a big lot with amazing landscape. It is in a very nice Holladay location surrounded by multi million dollar homes and very convenient to everything in Salt Lake. We stayed in the cottage looking Home the Princess Bellagio. It was well kept, spotless and adorable. It was right in the heart of the city but when you got behind the wall that was lined with trees, it was completely private! There was tons of parking and the yard was amazing, my family loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!!

My experience with the Princess Bellagio was that it is a beautiful home with classic architecture and stunning landscaping. Both inside and out it felt inviting and comfortable. It was large enough that we weren’t on top of each other, but small enough that my family felt together and connected. Every room had a television and the most comfortable beds for my family to enjoy watching movies on. The house is wonderfully located and is easily accessible to many attractions, we were able to visit Lagoon Amusement Park and mountain bike in Corner Canyon within a 25-minute drive of the Princess. The backyard was spacious and beautiful, we enjoyed many nights out there, enjoying the scenery. The front yard had wonderful character and landscaping, when we drove up, it felt as though we were in a movie. It was a great place for a family trip and everyone loved being there! It was a phenomenal place to stay and had so many benefits, but the best were how similar it felt to staying at my own house and how clean it was, it was a dream.

We loved the location so close to the ski areas, but also near shopping and dining options. Our kids loved gathering in the living room and watching football on the big screen TV. We also enjoyed the gas fireplace and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean, especially the refrigerator. The ping pong table in the garage was fun for the kids too! We had a wonderful visit and would recommend it to our friends and family! were very pleased with everything about the house. It was very clean and we had a wonderful time.

This home was absolutely beautiful. Photos are hard to get a real sense for its true beauty. We had our family of 8 stay with us and they were all very comfortable. The setting is so quaint, nestled in large trees, but the location is so close to the mountains and freeway, very convenient. The view out the large windows into the backyard trees and stream while it snowed was so gorgeous, while we cozied up to the gas fireplace and watched a movie. We loved cooking in the kitchen and my eldest son and his wife had the guesthouse out back. They adored it. The decor is very well done, although there are lots of books that we didn't read. We loved how great the service was. The owner and his staff were very hospitable. They were there to check us in and show us the home. We even rented a car rental at a discount from their arranged partnership and took them up on their catering company who brought in a meal for us, which was really great. We had a great trip and would definitely recommend this home if you want a nice experience, a luxury home for a great price.

Another great home we found on VRBO! I am beginning to like traveling more! But, this home by far was the best we have ever stayed in. the ceilings were huge and it just opened up. We enjoyed the fireplace during the cold nights and sitting around the TV while the kids played pool and my brother and his wife sat in the hot tub on the other side of the home. We came in for our annual ski trip. We chose Salt Lake this time. The kids wished they could have fit more people in the guest house, but there was enough room for us to store our gear in the garage, and the kitchen was nice to entertain and have a nice relaxing time together after a long day on the slopes. We enjoyed the location close to the mountains, and the large windows in the family room was amazing to see all the snow falling when we woke up in the morning. It was great, thanks for everything.

Simply gorgeous! We wished we would have had more towels, but we loved the cute kitchen, the pool table was a great touch for the kids, the hot tub was so private and secluded, we loved the stream out back and the huge trees with ivy growing up them. Looking back on it now, we should have rented the guesthouse as well for the kids to have a place to stay. We will keep this in mind. Highly recommend to anyone not sure on a great house!!

Blew us away! When we pulled up, we could not believe our eyes. Once we walked in the front door, the entire interior just explodes to 30' ceilings. I was shocked. It was the funnest house to stay in with our family. THe huge picturesque great room windows with a gorgeous view of the huge 100' trees in backyard was so fun to relax and look at. My wife enjoyed the guest house out back with the kids because if gave us some privacy in the main house and allowed the kids to setup a playstation (they provided for us extra) and we didn't see them the rest of the night. We liked to sit out on the back patio and have a BBQ with the amazing trees and the ducks that would come up from the stream and say hi (spring time) It was a great experience and we will definitely tell all our friends. We wanted to stay in Park City to ski and board, but when we found out the home we wanted was $5,000 for 1 NIGHT, we decided to look elsewhere. We found this home on VRBO and it looked comparable. For the price, we thought it was far away or something was wrong, but boy were were pleasantly surprised. WOW! I just wanted to write and thank you for all you did to make this a trip to remember. I think we took 50 pictures of the house while we were there and the kids had a blast outside in guest house and out back. Having a hot tub made it all so much nicer after skiing all day. What an amazing estate! We would love to live here forever. The pool table, the furnishings, the hot tub, and the most amazing view out the window into the backyard was breathtaking when we walked in! My wife was so impressed with my find that she let buy the car I really wanted. It really made for a very memorable trip to Salt Lake for us all. I had no idea that such a home would be on VRBO. And, for the price we paid and the discount you gave us, we should have stayed longer. Thanks so much guys really, it was great!

Thanks Melynda for a great reservation and upgrading us to this home. We really liked the other home we had reserved, so we were concerned about the one you put us in, until we arrived. We were so blown away at its beauty, we practically never left and were late twice to our corporate trainings....oops! Of course the house had nothing to do with it (shhh?) Anyways, I can't say enough about the home. It was sparkling clean, smelled nice, and was a peaceful and beautiful inside as it was outside. We loved to hang out out on the patio and the kids loved to climb the big trees and explore in the back yard. The hot tub was a nice touch too, although we didn't use it much. In short, we could not have love it any more! Thank you so much for a great experience. Its hard to find great homes like this for the price!

Stayed here in Sept. What a find it was so beautiful. My wife was especially pleased. We met the owner and she was soo nice to us. It was an overall great vacation and very resonablly priced.

What a beautiful home! I really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and my husband enjoyed the hot tub. We will definately stay again next year.

We have traveled all over the world. I have never been more impressed with a vacation home than I was with this one. It is a magnificent home, one you would expect to see in any home magazine. Staying there was a real treat for my family and I. It is truly a MUST SEE and everything and more than it is advertised. I would have paid $500 night for what we had and how many people it accomodated.

What a beautiful home. We thought the pictures were too good to be true but they weren't. The grounds were beautiful as well. Very peaceful and restful. My wife really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. This home is perfect for entertaining. My 2 teenage sons and I enjoyed the hot tub the best! We all had a great time!

This home was so unique. Great location and great price, has tons of old world charm and can't find that very many places. 1st time we rented a home for our annual ski trip. We were all so spoiled we won't go back to hotels.
