Yes, our pools are open!

.

After being closed for a period due to Covid-19, pools at Paradise Village at Zion and Ocotillo Springs Resort are open again!

 .

We're so grateful for the efforts of everyone involved in flattening Utah's curve, but it's not quite over yet! There are still some precautions we'll be taking at our pools as things continue to normalize.

 .

We've put together a quick FAQ about what pool attendance will look like in the coming weeks. If you have more questions related to reservations during the Covid-19 pandemic, feel free to contact our reservations department at 801-747-0218 or by clicking here.

Will there be any kind of social distancing requirements at the pool?
    •  Standard social distancing is being practiced at our resorts to help ensure safety and reduce infection spread in Utah. We highly encourage our guests to practice social distancing outside of our resort as well to protect our wonderful community of Santa Clara.

 .

.

Are social distancing requirements self-enforced, or will there be a worker at the pools enforcing the guidelines?
    • Social distancing will be self-enforced. There are "WARNING" signs on entry gates to the pools to remind guests as they enter. If there is a concern that children cannot read and obey the signs, those children should be accompanied by an adult who is capable of reading and enforcing the guidelines. These guidelines are there to protect guests and our community and should be followed.

.

Will there be any kind of extra cleanings or just the standard chlorination?
    • Paradise Village and Ocotillo employees will thoroughly clean the handles of the gates, doorknobs of the restrooms, clubhouse, etc., several times a day. However, we are unable to clean up after each individual guest, so it's important they do their part by washing their hands, avoiding the pool if they're feeling ill, and doing all else recommended by the government to avoid infection spread.

.

.

Is this an indefinite opening, or will the pools close again?
    • Unfortunately, we don't know if the pools will be closed again because that depends on the ever-changing state of the pandemic and guidelines set on the local, state, and federal levels. Guidelines and regulations can change at any time, so we can't know for sure what will happen when. We will continue to try being proactive and will maintain open communication with guests as the situation progresses.
