How to Get the Most Out of Your Spring Break in Utah

Whether you're a Utah local or coming from out of state, we have the perfect guide to make your Spring Break unforgettable. Utah is the perfect place to explore and make family memories. Here are our top tips to make your trip perfect.

Plan Ahead

Things book up FAST for Spring Break. Don't wait until the last minute to book your vacation home, dinner reservations, and excursions. Remember that as of 2022, Arches will be requiring reservations to get into the park from April-October. Angels Landing at Zion will also be requiring permits this year.

Avoid the Crowds

National Parks tend to be a hot spot for Spring Breakers. Zion and Arches National Parks fill up early and will stop letting in guests once they're full each day. It's best to get into the parks early, or wait until evening to avoid getting turned away.

Find Local Treasures

It's easy to stick to what you know when visiting a new town. But what makes Utah special is all the local eateries, small shops, and unique boutiques you can find. Make sure to check out our Instagram pages for all our recommendations for great local spots.

Try Something New

While Zion and Arches are packed during holidays and school breaks, other smaller parks tend to be less busy and just as incredible. We recommend checking out Snow Canyon, Sand Hollow, or Canyonlands. It's also a great time to try a new adventure. You can book a guide to take your family canyoneering, mountain biking, or even off-roading!

Don't Break the Bank

There's no need to spend a ton of money on your Spring Break trip. One of our favorite ways to save money on vacation is by making a couple meals at home during your trip. All of our homes come with full kitchens so you can whip up anything from a quick breakfast to a nice dinner. We also love packing our own sandwiches and snacks when out hiking and adventuring.
