The Utah Arts Festival is excited to be back for 2021. They've spent quite a bit of time weighing options seeking to host a safe and fun in-person event. This festival in Utah brings local artists together and gives them a platform to showcase their talents. The Utah Arts Festival strives to promote art appreciation, progression, and maintain a high artistic quality. This outdoor festival is hosted in downtown Salt Lake City normally the fourth weekend in June but for 2021 the event takes place August 27-29.
I bet you didn't know that the largest outdoor multi-disciplinary arts event in Utah is the Utah Arts Festival! Well how large do you ask? Around 70,000 people! All things considered, this year might not boast as large of a turnout but I think we're all glad to experience a sense of normalcy, get outdoors, experience the culture of Salt Lake, and celebrate the extremely talented artists that call Utah home.
Park City Wine Festival
Much like the Utah Arts Festival, the Park City Wine Festival is happy to be back for 2021! Both events share similar missions but are driven through different mediums. Don't be fooled, the Park City Wine Festival isn't a bunch of wine lovers sitting around sipping local artisan wines. This event offers so much more! You'll be able to taste excellent wines, enjoy entertainment from local musicians, experience Park City's historic beauty, and best of all parktake in the Grand Tasting.
If wine isn't your thing, don't worry there will be plenty of beer and spirit vendors. Name a better combination of scenery, sunshine, friends, and alcohol? I'll wait.
This event does require you to purchase tickets so don't wait! Event dates are September 30-October 2.
*This event is for those 21+
2021 Urban Arts Festival
Do you love art? Do you want to experience the culture behind it? The 2021 Urban Arts Festival in Utah might be the best FREE event you might not have heard of. Presented by the Utah Arts Alliance, this event is entering its 11th year! That's impressive if you ask me. Even more impressive, the Urban Arts Festival has won several awards like the 'Best Indie Art Event in Utah' and 'Best New Event in Utah' standing out amongst the many festivals in utah.
There's over 200 artist booths, live music, food, dance, film, live art demonstrations, projection art, media art, and automobile custom culture. Located at The Gateway in Salt Lake, the location couldn't be more perfect. The Gateway is a spectacle downtown. Tens of thousands of people attend each year and you should too.
There's plenty of events, booths, and activities to check out over the course of three days. Clear your calendars September 3-5 for a great time.
